Wedding Photographs That Tell the Story of Your Day
Your wedding brings together people who matter to you. I want you to feel at ease with them, celebrate and enjoy your time together. I keep an eye on the photographs, so you can return to those moments afterwards and share the memories with your guests.
Preparing together so you can enjoy the day
Before the wedding, we talk about your plans, the people who matter to you and what you would like from the photographs. We work out how the photography fits into your day. Knowing your wishes beforehand lets me respond to what is happening on the day itself.
During the ceremony and your time with guests, I stay in the background. I watch for glances, embraces and moments that happen naturally, giving you room to enjoy them.
A little time for the two of you
It is often worth setting aside a short moment for couple portraits in the afternoon. On the wedding day, I look around your venue beforehand and choose suitable spots. When we head off together, I already have a sense of where the light and surroundings will work well.
I give you clear guidance so you feel comfortable in front of the camera and can soon return to the celebration. We choose the timing to fit your plans. My article on relaxed couples photography gives you a sense of how I work with couples.
Photographs with your guests
We also discuss group pictures and guest portraits beforehand. Perhaps you have a special idea you would like to bring to life in your group photos. Together, we work out how to make it happen and fit it into the celebration.
A selection you will enjoy returning to
My work continues after the wedding. I put together a coherent series that includes the important moments, the people and the smaller details of your day. You receive a finished selection you can enjoy looking through again and again.
Your own online gallery makes it easy to share the photographs with your guests. That way, the memories also reach the people who celebrated with you.
If you are planning your wedding, tell me about your day and what matters to you. I look forward to getting to know you.
