Expanding Your Model Portfolio with an Outdoor Shoot in Vienna

New sides of you for your model portfolio

The sessions shown here were created to expand existing model portfolios. The aim was to add different looks and moods while keeping each series coherent.

Before a session like this, we talk about the direction you want to take. Are you looking for more fashion imagery, a stronger edge or more approachable portraits? That guides our choices of clothing, setting and approach.

Variety through setting and expression

Outdoors, we can move between a simple wall, architecture and greenery. Vienna offers a range of portrait locations. I choose a combination that fits the series without spending the session travelling between distant places.

We vary posture, gaze and framing as we photograph. I give guidance and build on what you bring to the session. When needed, I supplement the available light with a reflector or a small flash.

Choosing outfits with purpose

A few distinct combinations are more useful than lots of similar clothes. That might mean a simple outfit, something sharper and a softer or more casual option. We match styling and makeup to the direction of the pictures.
