Company events are more than the official program

A good company event is not only remembered for the official program, but for how people spend time together. The conversations, short encounters, families, and small moments in between often tell you a lot about what the evening actually felt like.

That is exactly what matters to me when I photograph an event like this.

What good images should show at a summer party

At an internal summer party, the goal is usually not just to document that it happened. The stronger images show how people arrived, talked, laughed, moved through the evening, and shared the place with colleagues, partners, and children.

That is especially important when employees and families are part of the event, because the whole atmosphere becomes more open and relaxed.

How I approach event photography for companies

I work in a documentary way. That means I stay close to the event, but I do not try to stage it. I watch for real interaction, short reactions, gestures, and the small moments that would immediately change if people started performing for the camera.

For me, this kind of event photography works best when the images feel open, lively, and believable.

A summer party at Schloss Hunyadi

These photos were taken at an internal summer party in Schloss Hunyadi in Maria Enzersdorf. What stayed with me was how naturally everything mixed: conversations in the courtyard, families moving through the evening, children playing in between, and guests spreading across the grounds of the castle.

Visual language, look, and mood

The visual language here is open, calm, and approachable. The weather was not especially summery and there was some rain, but the mood never dropped. That was important to keep in the images: a relaxed evening that felt warm because of the people, not because of golden light.

Why these images stay useful afterwards

Photos like these are not only relevant during the event week. They can support internal communication, reflect company culture, and give future events a much stronger visual memory.
